Your Partner for Life's Transitions

At Elder Care Law of Kentucky, we take pride in being a leading elder law firm in the region. Founded in 2017, our practice has grown exponentially, driven by a deep commitment to providing personalized legal solutions tailored to the unique needs of seniors and their families.

Mike McKinley, our managing partner, is more than just an experienced elder law attorney—he’s a Central Kentucky native, a University of Kentucky graduate, and a proud UK Law School alum. As a farm owner and a father, Mike understands firsthand the importance of leaving a legacy and protecting what matters most. That personal connection fuels his passion for helping families plan wisely and preserve their futures.

Since opening in 2017, Mike has proudly served over 750 clients and successfully protected more than $375 million from probate and nursing homes—ensuring families retain control over their assets and care decisions.

Our team of dedicated attorneys and support staff brings a wealth of expertise and a deep understanding of the complexities of elder law.

Not every estate attorney is an elder law attorney; however, elder law attorneys do provide estate planning services, and at ECLKY, we bridge the gap.
